  • Sarah Yourgrau

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Yourgrau is a 2X Emmy award-winning Storyteller and Social Anthropologist dedicated to designing uplifting narratives that inspire greater social curiosity and connection across our perceived differences.

    With over 17 years of experience as an award-winning producer, interviewer, and on-camera host of both lean-in and lean-back media (from SNL to the United Nations), Yourgrau’s unique capacity for building inviting and navigable bridges between seemingly unrelated cultures, communities, and ideas makes her a pioneer and uplifting force in the rapidly evolving social impact and storytelling space. Her viral give-back TV series, Returning the Favor (which garnered over ½ a billion viewers), proves that audiences are yearning for content that entertains, unites and celebrates the best in us.

    With a keen interest in culture and over a decade of experience in hope-inducing storytelling across a wide variety of mediums, Yourgrau founded CGS to leverage the power of authentically feel-good media to inspire and empower audiences to reimagine what’s possible.

  • Anne Loder

    HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT

    An experienced unscripted executive with prior tenures at notable production companies and networks, Loder was previously VP of Development at Gunpowder & Sky where she played a key role in leading and expanding their nonfiction content division with notable projects like the premium documentary “Call Me Miss Cleo” for HBO Max, and was responsible for developing a broad slate of 40+ original unscripted projects.

    Loder has a deep love of comedy and served as Sr. Director of Development at Funny or Die. She played a pivotal role in building their linear TV slate with genre-bending projects for FOX, Quibi, and Paramount +. Prior to Funny or Die, she was on the development team at Fusion where she helped launch a slew of comedic projects garnering the network's highest ratings.

    She began her career at IFC and covered shows like “Portlandia,” “Comedy Bang! Bang!,” “Maron” and “Whisker Wars.” She has developed projects across every unscripted genre, for networks including Netflix, Hulu, Paramount +, TLC, HBO Max, and History among others.

    Loder is fired up about creating exciting content that connects audiences all over the world and thinking outside of the box about the media landscape.

  • Pooja Nayyar

    DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

    As a first-generation Indian-American with a degree in Political Science and background in journalism, Nayyar is deeply passionate about fostering intercultural communication and cross-ideological collaboration, especially through the content we create.

    Prior, she served as Associate Producer for “Heal Squad x Maria Menounos,” a podcast that democratizes access to world-renowned experts and healers in the healthcare and wellness spaces.

    From community building in rural Hungary and Slovakia to backpacking on assignment across Iceland, Nayyar knows first-hand that story is the most powerful language. As a storyteller navigating in arguably the world’s most divisive climate, she aims to curate bridge-building narratives that leave viewers feeling more connected to their humanity, and one another.

  • Esther Lee

    PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

    A born and bred New Yorker with over 20 years of hands-on experience spanning Production, Operations, and Post Production in Media & Entertainment, Lee's expertise extends across a diverse range of content formats - including but not limited to scripted, comedic, live events, documentaries, and true crime. With a relentless dedication to excellence, Lee has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous Emmy, Oscar, and Peabody Award-winning industry professionals enabling ambitious creative visions come to life.

    Lee's appreciation for storytelling originated by way of her love for stand up comedy (following the NY stand-up comedy scene) and began her career at Comedy Central's "Insomniac with Dave Attell” - thus igniting a passion for creating quality and engaging content. Since then, Esther's career has evolved from a production and post freelancer to roles as a network executive for IFC & AMC Networks, as well as studio executive - gaining valuable insights across all aspects of the media and entertainment business while working on a vast array of critically acclaimed programs (Flatbush Misdemeanors, Documentary Now!, Brockmire, Portlandia, Maron, World of Jenks, Jon Benjamin Has a Van)

    Génesis Socorro, shaped and guided by the unwavering strength of Puerto Rican women, has carved her path in the film industry as both a Producer and Production Manager. Her journey includes collaborations with top-tier artists and successfully overseeing projects from concept to delivery. In her current role at CGS, she is devoted to uniting filmmakers and storytellers to craft narratives that resonate with our shared experiences, beliefs, and truths. With her unshakable composure, she is determined to drive forward projects that hold genuine significance.
